Copywriting is a game of Tetris. Think about every word as a differently-shaped block that needs to be well-placed in a sentence.
The goal is to fit everything together perfectly—too many gaps or spaces means filling up the page too fast. But, once you learn to fit the words together, everything will flow together.
One of the simplest ways to keep your sentences (and your message) clean and uncluttered is to remove unnecessary words.
Not only will you have more room to make your point, your sentences will fit together beautifully!
How do you know which words to get rid of?
Simple! Ask yourself if the sentences changes without them or, if you can write it in a simpler way.
